To truly enjoy your first underwater trip you need a guide you can trust completely. Our instructors and guides, with their deep understanding and knowledge of the Croatian underwater scenery, will make sure you are completely safe and comfortable during your underwater adventures.

Discover SCUBA Diving is a program designed for beginners and is open to everyone who visits Split, Croatia, or the surrounding areas. No previous scuba experience is needed and it is a great way to try scuba diving, before committing to an Open Water Diver Certification course. It allows you to see what scuba diving is all about, and to decide if it's the right activity for you.

All instruction and equipment is provided and a professional Instructor will be with you the entire time, from getting into the water, to exploring the underwater world and returning to the shore. On entering the water, your instructor will make sure you are safe, comfortable and that your equipment fits correctly. You will then descend with the Instructor to one (1) meter under the water. Here you stop, and practice breathing through the regulator. Once you are comfortable, you descend further and stop again, to become familiar with your new surroundings. Once you are ready, your instructor will take you by the hand on your First Scuba Dive. Your instructor will also take pictures and videos during the dive and share them with you after.

• Completed Medical Statement prior to your DSD experience
• Ability to swim and float unassisted in the ocean
• Understand and speak English (for safety reasons)

The course is comprised of three parts:
• Theoretical part - learning the basic principles and procedures of diving. This will be accomplished with ease, directly on your device and at your own peace. 

• Confined Water Dives - Skills - Your Instructor will lead you through a series of skill exercises, from setting up your gear to clearing your mask of water without surfacing and other practices that will make you a safe and happy diver. 

• Open Water Dives - After your confined water dives, you will continue your diving education with 2 open water dives with your Instructor at a dive site.

• 3-5 days, or the time needed to complete 6 dives. (The course duration and dynamics can be customized to your relaxing holiday plan)

Although our certification courses groups are small (4-6 students), we offer the possibility to have a private course, where one instructor will only work with you. You will also have the freedom to create your own schedule and dynamics of the dive sessions during a Private Course.

The price for the Private Certification Course is 600 Eur/person – 4.500 HRK.
